New Lambs Herald Spring!

Poppy, Abbie and Rosie all gave birth to twin lambs this year. The six lambs have been named Daphne, Nelson, Bobby, Kelly, Reggie and Murphy.

The Kids are here!

Over the past few weeks there have been four baby goats - kids - born at the farm this year. Both Tess and Honey gave birth to twins and all are doing well!

The Piglets arrive!
Penny Sue had 9 live piglets and one still born. Everything went well until the afternoon when things started going downhill.  Unfortunately we lost 4 pigs and even though it was very sad it was a great learning experience for everyone that was there.  The five remaining piglets and Penny Sue are doing well

The 36th Annual Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival May 2nd & 3rd
If you have never been before, you are in for a wonderful adventure as well as an education in all things sheep and wool. Spend a day, taste lamb, enjoy the many presentations and exhibits, as well as opportunities to buy finished goods, materials, and supplies. Enjoy the ongoing free entertainment.

Featuring over 250 vendors and more than 1,000 sheep. Watch shearing and sheep dogs.

The Festival and parking are always free.
