2nd Annual 4-H Cookout
Wow! What an evening! With
an estimated attendance of 100 4-H
members, their families, park rangers and friends, it was the best ever turn out
at the Anne Arundel 4-H cookout, held at Kinder Park in
Millersville. Everyone enjoyed hayrides, food and
a bonfire on an ideal night.
Many thanks go out to the
park staff for providing the venue, the Antique
Tractor Club for the hayrides and the members of the
Anne Arundel 4-H Foundation for organizing and
sponsoring
the event.

Caroline/Dorchester County ShowMembers
of the club took their animals to show at the
Caroline /Dorchester County Fair.
The event was a lot of fun in a great setting.
After the fair all of the 4H members were
invited back to a picnic at one of the Caroline
County 4H members houses.
Mr. Patrick Thompson, the 4H Faculty Extension
Assistant for Anne Arundel County, joined the
club members on a fun day out for all!

Action at Kinder!
Action the Holstein calf arrived at the farm in
a hurry on the evening of Friday, July 25th! We
only found out that Amelia, her mother, was
pregnant a few days ago so it was a huge
surprise
to everyone. Action and Amelia have now left
Kinder and have gone back to the dairy farm
where they were being leased from.

July 4th 2008 Parade
The club
entered into the July 4th parade in Severna
Park. The club won first place for best club
float!
